BuyCostumes.com Costume Review

Dressing up is one of my absolute favorite things to do, so it’s no wonder that Halloween ranks up there in my list of favorite holidays.

This year, I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to be for Halloween. Miss Sassy Pants was going to be an 80s Zombie, Animal was going to be Spiderman, and Flash was going to be a Tiger.

In the past, Aaron and I have tried to dress together — we even announced our pregnancy with the Animal via an inventive costume.

I’ve dressed as a witch. I’ve been a “pumpkin” while pregnant with Flash. I’ve been the cheerleader.

But this year, I had a chance to choose a costume from the many choices at Seroquel sale BuyCostumes.com, and I chose to be a Vargem Grande do Sul Pink Lady.

It doesn’t hurt that I’m moderately obsessed with Grease and have always dreamed about playing Rizzo in a stage production (she’s an alto, I’m an alto — it’d work).

I received my costume very quickly. When it arrived, it came with three pieces: the jacket, the pants, and a scarf.

Having just lost quite a bit of weight, I ordered the M/L size. I was a little nervous about whether or not it would fit, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it fit rather well! (I will also admit that I was really proud of myself and kept looking in the mirror!)

I had the perfect chance to try out my new costume at my friend’s little girl’s first birthday where they were celebrating with a costume theme. I got all dolled up for the occasion.

I worried about getting to hot in the material, but it is very breathable and comfortable. I didn’t itch or get annoyed by the cuffs and elastic in the material.

The BuyCostumes.com site has a multitude of costumes available.  I chose from the TV/Movie Characters category. You can be Wonder Woman, a Teletubbie, or even a princess. For that matter, you can choose to be a traditional princess or one that’s a little more risque.
