CRYOOW! Doll Review and Giveaway

If you’re like me, your kids watch too much TV, and you’d really rather find a way for them to get outside or use their imaginations and be creative. Miss Sassy Pants loves arts and crafts, but it seems like too often I find her in front of the television watching mindless shows that end up adding to her sassy attitude.

As we’ve welcomed a new one into our lives, there are more and more times that I find the Animal or Miss Sassy Pants doing something that is mindless rather than exercising their bodies or minds. I was so excited when I found CRYOOW!

CRYOOW! dolls give your child the opportunity to draw their own picture of a friend and then have that friend turned into a doll! Miss Sassy Pants was elated to have the chance to create her own doll. She spent a good amount of (non-TV) time working on her drawing so it would be just right.

Once I sent in her drawing, it was only about 2 weeks total before we received notice that her doll would be on its way to our doorstep.

She named her doll Annie, and when she arrived, it was like Christmas morning. Look at how awesomely accurate this doll is!

Sassy Styles My HeartsaKEs Giveaway

When my friend, Greta, from G*funk*ified posted a picture of her new necklace featuring her blog and Twitter info, I was immediately both jealous and excited at the same time. The necklace is gorgeous and such an amazing way to feature Greta’s work.

So, I contacted Kylie because I wanted one of my own. First of all, Kylie was extremely wonderful to work with in order to place my order. I really wanted a necklace with my children’s names; but since we aren’t sure if we’re totally done having babies, I needed to be sure the necklace was one that I could add to in the future if needed.

Here is what we decided on. I love it. Thank you, Kylie!

While I was at it, I thought it would also be nice to get a gift for my BFF who had thrown me the shower for Flash. She is such a good friend who is always there for me, and I knew she was loving the “mommy” necklaces you can find out there. It didn’t hurt, either, that she was entering all of Kylie’s contests trying to win a necklace for her (I was mentally smacking her and telling her to STOP lest she win a necklace before I could get this one to her). I was excited to give her the necklace, and she was extremely touched.
