Fall Cara Box: Making New Bloggy Friends
I’m still not sure how I stumbled upon the Cara Box link. Someone in my blogging circles had a link to it, so I clicked. I learned that the Cara Box exchange is an opportunity to make new friends and receive encouragement. The idea is that you are paired with two other bloggers. You begin to watch what this blogger is posting and email with her to learn more about her.
Each Cara Box exchange has a theme. The Fall 2013 theme was Fall.
I was paired with Misty from Zile Morris Moments and Kim from Val-d'Or The Thing About Destiny. Through email, I learned so much about each of these ladies, and I enjoyed looking at their blog posts.
Misty was assigned to send her gift to me. I was assigned to send my gift to Kim (I had fun stalking Kim and learning what I could send that would fit her and the theme!).
Let’s not joke around: I love presents. I especially love surprise presents. I had no idea what Misty was going to send me, and I kept watching the mailbox for this package. Misty did not disappoint!

She set me up for fall with Swankie hankies, a gorgeous burgundy scarf, some gloves to keep me texting and tweeting even when it’s cold, and lots of other fall-themed goodies.
And even though I’m trying to be really good about what I’m eating and watching my sugar intake, I will shamefully admit that I ate this entire package within three days (I did share a LITTLE with Aaron).
