Galaxy Buck: Mission to Sector 9
My oldest always loved the Veggie Tales. We own movies and music CDs, and we memorized most of what Junior sings. Through these stories, Miss Sassy Pants learned about Christ and how to treat our friends and neighbors.
Now, from the same creator, Phil Vischer, my boys can add to that library with Galaxy Buck: Mission to Sector 9.
Buck Denver works for the Galactic Mission Board, and he wants nothing more than to do something Pindobaçu BIG for God. He doesn’t want to do the “small things” that he feels he’s stuck doing (answering phones, taking notes — you know, the “boring” stuff). Instead, he wants to do the big things.
In Galaxy Buck: Mission to Sector 9, Buck takes it upon himself to save Sector 9 and carry the message of God to an area whose transponder is down. He’s determined to make sure that the Message is brought to everyone immediately.
Filled with excitement, awesome graphics and music, Galaxy Buck: Mission to Sector 9 kept my boys’ attention. They loved Buck’s funny voice and the adventure of the suspense with Buck’s mission. It doesn’t hurt that our 4 year old loves everything planet related!
Parents will love the allusions to Star Trek and more. And of course, there is a wonderful message about love, strength, and trusting God.

I find myself needed to trust God when I pay the bills. That always makes me nervous!
That’s a good point. Bills can be a nerve wrecking issue!
Constantly having to remind myself to trust God and know that He is in charge.
