He's not shy…

He's not shy…

The other day, I forced my husband to complete one of those personality tests. You know, the ones that tell you whether you’re an Introvert or an Extrovert.

I wasn’t shocked when it came back that I’m an Extrovert, and he’s the Introvert. Ambur We work well together, and this is just one small reason why.

So tonight, when we were watching our children play, we started to think about what each of their personalities would be like as they grow up.

http://childpsychiatryassociates.com/treatment-team/ Miss Sassy Pants is already eight, so her personality is shining through. She’s sassy, smart, funny, and intuitive. She truly does care about people and worries about their feelings. She’s also freakishly loud. I’m determined this will come in handy some day.

The Animal is only two. So far, we know he’s hilarious. We also know that he’s very particular about things being in a certain order or place. Granted, that attitude doesn’t spill over into the need to pick up his toys. But, he’s two. We’ll give him some time on that one.

And then there’s Flash. Seeing as how he’s only 4 months old, there’s little to know about his personality. What I do know is that he’s pretty chill, and he tends to only get really angry or upset when he really and truly needs something.

Which brings us back to our conversation. Aaron said he wondered which of the boys would be the aggressive one. I decided that it wouldn’t be Flash. He just seems so sweet (again, he’s 4 months — but at this point, the Animal was scowling all the time whereas Flash smiles all the time).

I told Aaron I was sure that Flash would be the shy one. Like his daddy.

And that’s when Aaron said, “I’m not shy. I just hate people.”

Now, I’m hoping they both turn out like me.
