Oriental Salad: Beyond Delicious

http://lyndsaycambridge.com//wp-content/plugins/indeed-membership-pro/classes/PaymentGateways/mollie/vendor/phpunit/phpunit/phpunit.xsd I love going to a family gathering and taking a dish that makes it look like I am the best chef in town. Don’t you?

Check out this DELICIOUS recipe for Oriental Salad. It takes a maximum of 10 minutes to put together, and it is awesome. Be careful, though. You might find yourself eating the entire bowl before it ever makes it to the cookout/fellowship dinner/gathering! Also, I must give credit to my amazing Aunt Vickie who gave me the recipe!

Oriental SaladOriental Salad

2 bags cole slaw mix

2 pkg beef flavored Ramen noodle

1 cup sunflower seeds

1 cup almonds (toasted)

1 bunch green onions (chopped)

Open the Ramen noodles and place them in a ziplock baggy. Use a spoon or your hand to crush the noodles. They should be in very small pieces. Then, mix all ingredients into one large bowl. To toast the almonds, put them on a cookie sheet on the top rack of your oven and use the Broil setting for about 2 minutes.

Dressing

1 cup oil

1/2 cup sugar

1/3 cup vinegar

2 packs beef flavoring from noodles

I used olive oil instead of regular vegetable oil. I also replaced the 1/2 cup of sugar with 1/4 cup of Domino Light (stevia & cane sugar blend). Stir all of these ingredients until they are well mixed.

Pour dressing over the cole slaw blend and stir. I suggest pouring in thirds to be sure that it is evenly distributed.
