SlapKoozies (Review)
Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
Everyone who remembers slap bracelets fondly, raise your hand. *Raises hand with much enthusiasm.*
As a child of the 80s, I loved having a slap bracelet (or two or three) to add to my already-motley assortment of colors and prints. I finished up elementary school in the 80s, and Punky Brewster was one of my favorite role models.
Great Online Promotions has brought the 80s back with their http://queerslo.com/events/category/social/list/?eventDisplay=past SlapKoozies. Easy (and fun) enough for a kid to use, the Slap Koozie is both a blast from the past and a great way to keep your drinks cool.
I even tried it on as a bracelet – totally works. And the cute “Hello, my name is” is a great conversation starter.
Then, we tried it on a couple of different drinks. First, we tried it on a canned drink. Even the Animal found the koozie to be fun.
Next, we tried it on Miss Sassy Pants’s “fancy water.” She was excited and felt like a big kid with the koozie on it (the Animal was our hand model for this one).
deductively Great Online Promotions offers a collection of products that can be personalized! Be sure to check them out for your next promotion, special event, or festival!

I have fond memories of the 80s, but I think the 90s were more near and dear to my heart – I was a high schooler in the early 90s. Grunge, FTW! 🙂
Oh the Grunge. I definitely had some Doc Martens!
I was a 90s kid
I loved the 90s too!
I was an 80’s baby! Oh man, I LOVED and still love the snap bracelets! I am a big fan of the 90’s, but I love me some 80’s as well. I mean seriously my kids probably think I am nuts but you can’t sing to anything at the top of your lungs in the car like you can to PRINCE!
Truth about Prince! 🙂
The 80s were fun. I loved the neon colors and leg warmers. I hope they make it back again so I can rock some hot pink clothes I still have in my closet
I vote that you rock them RIGHT. NOW.
I think I’m mostly partial to the 80s. Neon colors, big sweaters, Lisa Frank, Babysitters Club!! Love it!
Yes! The Babysitters Club — I’ve passed on that love to Miss SP!
