Blogger Idol: I've applied!!
Some of you have already realized how much I like to throw myself out there. You may have followed my journey as a Mamavation Mom with Bootcamp 17. You may have watched some of my order Ivermectin ridiculous vlogs.
I’m taking it another step further, and I’m applying for Blogger Idol ’13.
I applied last year when I had barely been blogging for a year with any real purpose. This year, I actually have a slight handle on my reasons for blogging, so I’m throwing my name into the hat one more time!
Regardless of my blogging naivete last year, I learned quite a bit. I even made some friends.
Out of Blogger Idol ’12, I found Lorinda from The Rowdy Baker. And, I started following some of my now favorite blogs.
The winner last year was Martinis and Minivans. If you haven’t met her via Twitter, Facebook, or her blog, you’re missing out.
The Top 12 contestants will be given weekly topics to which they’ll respond. Then, readers (like you) will vote on their favorites.
So why would I do this? Well, there are prizes. There is the chance to have more followers. There are friends to be made. But mostly, I want to push myself to the next level with my blog. I love to write and talk to all of you. Moving one step further with my content is something I hope Blogger Idol will help me do. (You can apply too! Go to the Blogger Idol audition page to do it! Then, we can hold hands and squeal together when they announce the Top 12.)
