I haven’t written anything in a while. A long while. My life has turned around in the job arena – I no longer wish to quit my job. I no longer dread waking up and going in to face the little munchkins I call my children. Of course, there are only 13 days left until exams, but I’m sure that has NOTHING to do with it!

We bought a truck. Yup. We are truck owners. It makes me laugh because Aaron’s face lights up when he talks about it or thinks about it or looks at it. I’ve begun calling it his “baby.” He admitted it felt really good to drive it home today! And that big fella doesn’t admit to a lot of emotional stuff. đŸ™‚

The biggest “change” in my life thus far has been the introduction of my running routine. I’ve actually been consistent for the last 5 weeks and have gone running on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Sometimes, I switch days, but I have yet to miss a run. I’m so freaking proud of myself, I can barely stand it.

My goal is to run a 5k, without stopping, before I get pregnant again. I had promised right after Miss Sassy Pants that I would be in great shape before I tried again for a baby. Now, if I could get my eating habits to follow my exercise habits, I think I’d have it made.

That said, I believe it’s time to put myself in the bed so I’m well rested for tomorrow’s run. I’d love to believe I’m going to wake up and go before school, but even I’m not that naive!
