Goddess Garden Review and Giveaway!

Goddess Garden Review and Giveaway!

I received this product for free as part of a review and giveaway opportunity with Bookieboo, LLC. The opinions in my review are honest and my own.

When I started my detox through my Mamavation Bootcamp, one of the pieces that I struggled to fix was in personal products. The other girls and I were given several types of “clean” products as part of our swag, so I did get to try out some shampoo, conditioner, make-up, and other personal care items.

buy provigil egypt As I learned in my bootcamp, 60% of what touches our skin enters the blood stream within 30 seconds. That is scary when you consider that we touch multiple things throughout any given day, and we can’t go around wearing a bubble or plastic gloves all the time. That’s why I wanted to find clean options for my family. If what touches my baby’s skin can get into their blood that quickly, I certainly wanted what I purposely put on them to be safe.

One item I was searching for was sunscreen. After learning about all of the awful ingredients in mainstream sunscreen, I knew that for myself and for my family, I wanted to find an option that wouldn’t add toxic chemicals to our regular routine.

Luckily, I had a chance to try out Goddess Garden Organics sunscreen. Their sunscreen comes in three options: lavender mint, grape bergamot, and tangerine lavender. And better yet, they are free from GMOs, phthalates, and Vitamin A.

I received the lavender mint SPF 15 sunscreen; so the first time I went for a run after receiving, I tried it out.

First, the smell is pleasant — lavender and mint are both soft scents that don’t overpower the nose. I get really picky when it comes to the fragrances that I encounter. The lavender mint was gentle enough and not too “smelly.”

Secondly, with the SPF 15, I knew I was being protected in the afternoon sun. Because I have to run based on our family’s schedule, I’m out later in the afternoon when the sun is at its hottest and most dangerous. I am happy to know that I can protect myself from burns and UV rays while also keeping the toxic chemicals away.

And lastly, because it has 91% organic ingredients, I knew I wasn’t further damaging my skin or adding harmful chemicals to my body. The ingredient list includes things like essential oils (better than “fragrance” as I’ve learned) and the majority of the ingredients are certified organic (all of this is on the label — thank you Goddess Garden!).
