How You SHOULD Speak to a Pregnant Lady
As I sit and type this, I am 8+ months pregnant. I am huge. I am tired. I am short-tempered.
Too often, people make comments to me that I suppose they think are harmless. I try to see the comments for what they probably are — an effort to make conversation and be witty. Unfortunately, most of the things people say end up sounding rude. I suppose the worst thing is that I grow some big babies, and I’m not a small lady myself. I am told quite often that “there’s no way you’re going to make it to your due date” or “look at how big your stomach is!”
Any lady who has ever been pregnant has, I’m sure, been bombarded with both kind and foolish comments.
