Moments of Genius 6: An exercise in DE-Cluttering

Welcome to Moments of Genius! It’s our 6th week linking up and sharing things we’ve done that are brilliant (or not so brilliant if the inspiration strikes).

Many thanks to those of you who have been linking up with me. A favorite from last week is Kristen from http://eecoswitch.com//simple.php?p=2f686f6d652f7074317464616379696b39722f7075626c69635f68746d6c Little Mama Jama who got right into the tongue-in-cheek spirit and talked about her Pregabalin purchase canada Indulgent Treat Fail with Talenti Gelato. Be sure to check her post out for a great giggle.

This week, I’m actually highlighting something I did that was pretty darn smart.

First, let me introduce you to my drawers full of plastic containers that we use for leftovers, school lunches, etc.

Frightening, aren’t they?

We’ve been buying lunch meat that comes in these reusable containers, and I had every hope of finding a means to reuse them here in the house.

I haven’t found a way to do this without just stacking them up in a closet somewhere.

Then, the epiphany happened. Having been a teacher in a classroom for over ten years, I remember loving it when parents gave me stuff — especially free stuff. So, I wrote a note to Miss Sassy Pants’s teacher:

You can see the offer was received rather well.

Lucky teacher got these today:

Booyah! Out of my house. Not in the landfill. Helping a teacher out.
