11 Things About Me

I’m expecting baby #3 – and I’m scared out of my mind about what it will mean to work at home with 2 small kids and another who will get off the bus in the afternoon and need me, too.
I like sharp cheddar on my pancakes. Weird, I know.
I have a tattoo. It matches one that my husband has. When I was getting it done, the tattoo artist said, “Welcome to your new addiction.” Nope. Most painful hour of my life. And I’ve birthed two babies.
I’m a Sista in the Mamavation Sistahood. These ladies have inspired me and taught me so much in the short time that I’ve known them, and I’m eternally grateful.
My BFF, Heather, and I have been friends since our senior year of high school. I thank God every day that she was placed in that 2nd period Marketing class and that we sat next to each other.
Speaking of friends, I’m still in touch with three gals that I met/knew when I was in first, second, and third grade in Germany (Dad was in the military). We’re friends on Facebook, and it’s so neat to watch their kids grow up!
I’m trying to become a published author. Trying. I write children’s stories.
I have lots of calendars. It’s almost an illness. But, I get really excited when I get to go buy a new one!
I also want to learn how to be a photographer. I got a new camera, and so far, I’m loving it!
I won’t eat or try baby food. Aaron thinks it’s strange that I’ll feed my kids stuff that I won’t eat. He’ll try it, so I figure one out of the two of us is pretty good.
I think I made myself need glasses. If I recall correctly, I may have fibbed when the doctor was asking me if I could see or not see. Thought it would be cool to need and wear glasses. Oops.

What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
I dated online. That was nuts. Turned out really nice, though. 🙂
What did you want to be when you grew up?
A teacher. It came true. I also wanted to be famous. Working on that one. In a way, being a teacher does sort of make you famous.
If you were a super hero, what powers would you have?
I want to be invisible. I want to move quickly. I want to be able to clean the house by wiggling my nose or something.
Where is the furthest that you have ever traveled?
I lived in Germany in elementary school. I guess that’s the furthest I’ve been.
What is your favorite guilty pleasure?
Birthday cake. I love it. That and stupid teenager movies with angst. Long story.
Have you ever met a celebrity? If so, who? If not, who would you like to meet?
Yes! I met Janet Evanovich. That was awesome. It lasted all of 2 seconds, but I’m certain I left an impression.
What is your favorite type of workout?
I like dancing the most.

I love MamaKat and the Bloggess.
Do you prefer baths or showers?
Showers. I do not like stewing in my own filth.
Sunrises or Sunsets?
To look at? Sunrises. But the sunset means I get to go to bed soon. I love sleeping.

10 maybe? On my toes. On my knees, way more. Right now? None.
