NoGii Whey & Quinoa Protein Powder (Giveaway)

Not too long ago, I shared with you the experiences my family had with NoGii products. Specifically, I talked about NoGii’s delicious protein bars (talk about tasting unhealthy but being AMAZINGLY healthy!).

What I didn’t talk to you about was NoGii’s Whey & Quinoa Protein Powder.

I’m generally a skeptic of any sort of protein shake. Too often, I can taste the powder or it’s a disgusting, boring taste. Math Man drinks lots of different types of protein shakes for his power lifting preparation, so I’ve tried them here and there. I usually just don’t like them. I’ve tried all flavors: vanilla (blech), chocolate (better but still powder-y), berry (barf). There just isn’t one I’ve found that I liked.

Until NoGii. I was sent the vanilla flavor and, as I said, was skeptical. There was just no way I could like plain vanilla. Boy was I happily surprised.

I mixed mine with milk the first time. It was really good! It tasted a lot like ice cream.

The second time, I mixed with dark chocolate almond milk. This was my favorite way to drink it. Tasted like a milk shake, filled me up, and wasn’t powder-y.

I can also report that I had great amounts of energy, and it helped me not be so hungry (it packs 20 grams of protein!).
